Scheduling Your First Appointment
When you call to schedule your first visit to The Teal Center, the receptionist will ask some questions to learn about what kind of treatment would be most beneficial for you and will match you with an appropriate therapist.
We generally recommend an hour appointment for your first massage. Initial Craniosacral sessions are 90 minutes, and initial acupuncture are 90 minutes to two hours. At the therapist’s discretion, other modalities may also require a longer intake appointment.
You will be asked to provide a credit card number to reserve your first appointment. It is held securely as a guarantee and will not be charged unless the appointment is missed or cancelled with less than 24 hours notice. At the time of your appointment you are welcome to pay by credit card (Visa, MasterCard, Discover or American Express), cash or check.
To ensure that you receive the benefit of your full appointment time, please arrive fifteen minutes early on your first visit to fill out a health history form. Or, if you prefer, download them here, fill them out at your convenience, and bring them in with you.
