We breathe everyday, whether we consciously think about it or not. Our breath not only nourishes our bodies with oxygen, but also provides us with powerful means to heal and thrive, reduce anxious feelings, and boost our energy in moments when we need it the most.
In this workshop, Audrey will guide you on a journey through the science of breathwork and its relationship to our mind and body connection. Along the way, you’ll explore different breathing techniques, learn and practice new ways to find healing in your day-to-day, and help your body find calm and reset itself.
Please bring a mat and blanket (optional), and wear comfortable clothes. We will be lying on the floor for part of the workshop to fully experience some of the breathing techniques.
Audrey’s calling is to help you tap into your mind and body connection. This drive stems from her own personal lifelong learning journey to heal from childhood trauma and find joy. Before becoming a wellness practitioner, Audrey worked for over a decade at the intersections of technology, experiential learning, psychology, and human-centered product design. She built experiences that taught people technical and behavioral skills to thrive in a challenging world, and coached teams through change. As an ex-LinkedIn content producer and Amazon product manager, Audrey understands how difficult it is to be mindful of and care for ourselves in a fast-changing and distracting world.
