This gentle yoga class is appropriate for everyone, even if you have never tried yoga before. If you do not have yoga blocks, blankets, or straps at home, I’ll show you how you can use items found around your home instead (blankets and towels make great yoga blankets, and dog leashes and neckties make perfect yoga straps). Join me for a relaxing hour of stretching and moving to start your day.
All proceeds from the class will support the Teal Center’s Covid 19 Go Fund Me campaign to raise money for our therapists who are currently out of work. This class will participate via Zoom link; registered participants will receive the link via email.
Taught my Dana Halkowski, who has been practicing yoga for 30 years and has over 1,000 hours of yoga teaching experience. She has a Master of Science in Yoga Therapy from the Maryland University of Integrative Health and certifications in Yoga for Depression and Yoga for Arthritis. She specializes in making yoga accessible for all ages and abilities.
