She is a Virginia Board of Medicine and Nationally Certified Licensed Acupuncturist and has been a long-time practitioner of meditation and integrative movement. She is a certified instructor of yoga (Kripalu), qigong (Institute of Integral Qigong and Tai Chi), and mindfulness meditation (MMTCP, led by Jack Kornfield and Tara Brach). She is also a Level 1 certified Internal Family Systems (IFS) practitioner and IFS-based life coach.
