Power-up Your Core
May 21 @ 4:00 pm - 5:30 pm
An event every week that begins at 4:00 pm on Saturday, repeating until May 28, 2022
It’s a fact – lots of people need help with their cores! Poor posture, muscle imbalances, too little movement, and poor muscle recruitment all contribute to a weak/uncoordinated core. Back pain, low muscle tone despite exercise, incontinence, and poor posture and balance are all signs your core needs some attention.
In this 4-week small-group progressive series, you’ll learn:
- how to engage your core functionally
- ways your body is going around your core
- how to move with support and control
- how to train it effectively
You’ll learn and practice exercises that directly translate into functional, real-life activities.
All props will be provided though you’re welcome to bring your own mat. It is essential you attend the first class. Each class does build upon the other. Handouts will be provided at all classes. If you need to miss a class, you can get the handout and catch up. Wear comfortable clothing, and bring a notebook and pencil to jot down tips and reminders. You will have email access to the instructor between classes.

Saturdays May 7 – 28, 4pm – 5:30pm
Cost for the series: $129
