Nevin has benefited greatly from acupuncture, including community acupuncture, throughout her stressful corporate career in the past.
As an acupuncturist, Nevin’s primary focus areas have been:
- General health, stress management and preventive acupuncture: improving energy, sleep, memory, stress reduction, anxiety, depression, allergies
- Pain management, musculoskeletal and migraines
- Fertility: Support for fertility with or without IVF or other reproductive technologies for both women and men, and
- Holistic, cosmetic acupuncture including Microneedling for facial rejuvenation and hair restoration.
Nevin brings a wealth of caring and insights from her years of studies in different healing and wellness modalities to her acupuncture practice. She has been a long-time practitioner of meditation and integrative movement. She is a certified instructor of yoga (Kripalu), qigong (Institute of Integral Qigong and Tai Chi), and mindfulness meditation (MMTCP, led by Jack Kornfield and Tara Brach). She is also a Level 1 certified Internal Family Systems (IFS) practitioner and IFS-based life coach.
Nevin is excited to be supporting those seeking an integrative approach to enhance their physical and mental-emotional wellbeing in a community acupuncture setting. Community acupuncture has been dear to her heart as she used it many times in the past and found it very helpful to build her trust and familiarity with acupuncture.
Nevin treats patients in the Community Acupuncture Clinic on Friday mornings.
