Shiatsu
Rhythmic finger and palm pressure along the body’s meridian lines. Performed clothed on a futon or table. Excellent for stress, fatigue, and digestive imbalance.
Traditional Asian bodywork techniques that support balance, restore energy flow, and bring deep physical and emotional ease, all working with the body's meridian pathways.
Asian bodywork draws from traditions developed across China, Japan, Thailand, and beyond — healing systems built on the idea that energy, breath, and touch flow through the body in observable patterns. Our practitioners are trained in the major modalities and can blend approaches based on what your body is asking for that day.
Each tradition has its own logic, instruments, and rhythm. Sessions can focus on one or blend several.

The same point system as acupuncture, applied with sustained pressure instead of needles. A gentler entry into Eastern bodywork — especially helpful for headache, anxiety, and shoulder tension.
A smooth-edged tool used to stroke the skin in firm, repeated patterns. Releases stagnation, supports circulation, and is especially effective for chronic neck and back tension.

A guided, one-on-one breathing practice with applied acupressure that calms the nervous system and restores energetic flow.
Sessions begin with a brief intake — we want to know what brought you in today, where you’re holding tension, and any health considerations we should respect. Most Asian bodywork is performed fully clothed; you’ll be asked about pressure preferences before we begin.
Your practitioner will move along your body with rhythmic pressure, sustained holds, or smooth-edged tools depending on the modality and your needs. Talking is welcome but not required — many clients drift into a meditative state once the work begins.
After the session, expect to feel grounded, looser, and sometimes tired. Drink water, move gently for the rest of the day, and pay attention to anything that surfaces — emotional or physical. Bodywork can stir things up. That’s the point.
Asian bodywork pairs naturally with other Eastern and Western traditions in our practice.
